A vacancy exists for the Area B Seat on the Milford Board of Education for a temporary term until the conclusion of the 2022-2023 fiscal year, set to expire on June 30, 2023. Interested persons shall submit a formal request for consideration of appointment with a letter of interest, accompanied by a resume of the applicant’s education and professional background, by 4:00 pm on August 19, 2022.

Rosa DiPiazza of Mispillion Elementary School said she approaches all of her relationships – with students, families, community members and colleagues – with genuine curiosity and interest.
Mispillion Art League held their Annual Student Art Show from April 26, 2022, through May 7, 2022. This exhibit showcases the work of students from the Milford School District. MAL is committed to supporting arts education because a quality arts curriculum builds learning skills, increases academic performance, and provides opportunities to reward the skills of children who learn differently.
Shannon Warnock, a Reading Interventionist at Mispillion Elementary of the Milford School District (DE), has been named the Open Up Resources Teacher of the Month for April 2022. Warnock is being recognized for her outstanding work in her classroom and ongoing support of teachers across the country as a member of the Open Up Resources National Professional Learning Community.
